By Ivy Reiss

Chef Nobu's World of Nobu Festival in Shoreditch, London on July 27th and 28th 2017

Headed by celebrity chef Nobu MatsuhisaJapan-based Nobo Hospitality and its team of global executive chefs are hosting and curating the prestigious culinary World of Nobu Festival on July 27th and 28th in London’s über trendy east end. The first time the festival has graced Europe, its location at the brand-new Nobu Shoreditch, the 35th addition to the Nobo line-up, pretty much guarantees the event will have all the celebrity, sophistication, and fanfare that tends to follow the brand around the globe.

In case you haven’t heard about the Nobu brand, let me fill you in. Chef Nobu became an instant hit with celebrities and food lovers alike when he opened his first, and now iconic, restaurant in Beverly HillsCalifornia, in 1987. Since then his restaurants have won four Michelin stars combined, two of them in the London locations: Nobu Berkeley St and Nobu London, along with repeated three star ratings from The New York Times. Launched at Atlantis The Palm in Dubai in 2014, this is the first time the not-to-be-missed World of Nobu Festival hits Europe.

In 2013 – some 25 restaurants and almost 25 years later – Chef Nobu opened his first boutique luxury restaurant and hotel combo in Caesars PalaceLas Vegas, with Academy Award winning actor Robert DeNiro and Hollywood producer Meir Teper. Since then, the Nobu Hospitality lifestyle experience has taken the world by storm, with locations in major cities across five continents.

An incredible foodie experience

Chef Nobu himself will delight guests with his culinary creations

These days, Nobu has climbed the ranks and established itself as one of the most exclusive luxury brands on the planet, and garnered a great deal of celebrity kudos along the way. Kate Winslet has called the Nobu experience “Heaven on earth,” while Madonna has proclaimed, “You can tell how much fun a city is going to be if Nobu is in it.”

How can food be this good? Simple. Chef Nobu has incorporated his classical training as a sushi-chef, his Japanese roots and his world travels with a focus on incorporating regional ingredients into his cuisine to create a sophisticated, unmatched culinary experience that has come to be acclaimed world-wide. And let’s face it, if Madonna follows your brand around the world, you’ve got be good!

With the launch of World of Nobo Festival at Nobu Shoreditch, the food created by the great ‘chef-to-the-celebrities’ can now be enjoyed by everyone. Event highlights include a series of exclusive dinners and master-classes hosted by none other than Chef Nobu himself, sake sampling, a special seven-course Omakase tasting menu on the 27th, and the festival itself on the 28th. Festival highlights include a culinary journey showcasing canapés from 21 of the company’s executive chefs from around the world.
